How to make our fastidiously-made brown sugar syrup

 

c1 Sugar canes thrive on under brilliant sunshine, at its production area surrounded by China’s rich natural environments. “Eitoku-City”, production area, is located at nearly the same latitude as Okinawa’s, surrounded by high mountains with big differences of temperature between day and night. These are the most suitable conditions for cultivating high quality sugar canes.
Sanko Shokuhin Co. provides brown sugar only produced and controlled in accordance with high quality standards based on ISO9001 which are packed in proprietary bags and shipped to Japan. Throughout our processing line, we maintain temperature and humidity at controlled level. After packaging, all products are checked with a metal detector and we ship products only passed the metal detector. c2
c3 In Japan, every year we conduct an analysis test of such items as residual chemicals, general constituents, sanitation items by monitoring samples for safety purpose.
Now we make brown sugar syrup from brown sugar shipped to Japan:
Carefully selected brown sugar is boiled with water only for a long time. And after an overnight maturing process with filtering through various filters, brown sugar syrup is completed.
After implementing moisture, sugar content and general viable bacteria test, brown sugar syrup is ready for promotion.

c6 Through processing and distillation of brown sugar in Japan for the purpose of getting safe and secured products, adding no additive substance, Eitoku brown sugar syrup is made using 100% purified brown sugar . c1 Sugar canes thrive on under sun-soaked natural environments with blue skies and blue sea in southern country “Okinawa”.
Okinawa Kokutou-Mitsu (Okinawa brown sugar syrup) is produced from Okinawa sugar canes.
At one time, there were more than several hundreds of brown sugar production plants in Okinawa prefecture, now there are only 8 plants left which are located at Iheyajima, Iejima, Agunijima, Taramajima, Kohamajima, Iriomotejima, Haterumajima, Yonagunijima. Since there are slight differences in variety and soil among each island, they produce slightly different type of brown sugar in its tastes and colors.
Okinawa brown sugar is produced by taking away impure substances from the juice extracted from sugar canes, then by boiling and condensing the juice and directly cooling it with no processing (no segregation of syrup) which makes the taste of Okinawa brown sugar syrup strong and dense emanated directly from sugar canes themselves. c2
